Made using lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) grown at the foot of Coronet Peak, in Queenstown, New Zealand. Local, in the literal sense — you can see where it was grown from the shop.
Ancient NZ Glacial Clay
Contains New Zealand Glacial Clay, a high-purity bentonite sourced from Canterbury and processed to remove grit and impurities.
The clay is what makes this soap shave well. It gives the lather slip, laying a cushioning layer between the blade and your skin so the razor glides rather than drags.
Suitable For
All skin types. If your skin is easily irritated, pair the soap with a scented or unscented pre-shave oil for the smoothest shave.

How to Apply Shaving Soap
Wet a shaving brush with warm or hot water. Using circular motions, build a rich, creamy lather in a shaving mug or in the jar. Apply the lather evenly across the face before shaving. Rinse the razor blade regularly as you go.

Bentonite clay gives the lather slip. It forms a cushioning layer between the blade and the skin, which lets the razor glide instead of dragging — the single biggest factor in avoiding razor burn.
