One 60ml beard balm, one 30ml beard oil and one 15g moustache wax, all in our Opium Smoke scent. Hand-crafted in small batches in Queenstown, in consultation with a clinically-trained AromaScience Practitioner to ensure the products are safe for cosmetic use.
Dark, resinous and smoky. The full set for a beard and a moustache that need managing separately.
We are winding down our moustache wax range and will not be restocking it. Once the wax is gone, this set goes with it.

Beard Care & Moustache Set FAQs
What order do you use them in?
Oil first, into damp skin beneath the beard. Balm over the top once the oil has absorbed, to shape and add body. Wax last, on the moustache alone — warmed between finger and thumb, then worked in and shaped.
Why do you need wax as well as balm?
A moustache sits over your mouth and gets in your food. Wax holds it out of the way; balm hasn't the grip. If you keep the moustache short, the balm alone is fine.
Is this scented with essential oils?
No. Opium Smoke is a fragrance blend. Our Black Cedar Beard Care Set is scented with essential oils only.
Is the set vegan?
No. The balm contains lanolin and the wax contains both beeswax and lanolin. The oil contains no animal ingredients.
Does it contain allergens?
The balm contains shea butter, from a tree nut. Limonene and Benzyl benzoate are declarable fragrance components. Full lists on the oil, balm and wax pages. Patch test before first use.
What replaces the wax when it's gone?
Beard balm will shape a moustache — candelilla wax gives it hold. Less grip than a dedicated wax, but it works.
Packaging
The balm and the wax come in recyclable amber glass pots. The oil comes in a recyclable amber glass dripolator bottle with a Tampertel wadded cap — consistent drops, less waste, cleaner hands.
