Unscented Moustache Wax Handmade in NZ
Premium unscented moustache wax. No fragrance, no essential oils. A natural styling wax, hand-crafted in small batches in Queenstown, New Zealand.
We are winding down our moustache wax range and will not be restocking it.
Made with beeswax, lanolin and castor oil — the beeswax gives the hold, the lanolin and castor oil condition the hair and keep the wax pliable. Non-greasy.
Designed and tested by professional barbers at Gents Barber Shop in Queenstown.
Why Unscented?
A moustache sits directly beneath your nose all day. A scent you love in the morning can wear thin by lunchtime, and it will compete with your aftershave or cologne. Unscented solves both problems, and it's the sensible choice if fragrance irritates your skin.
Fragrance Notes
None. That's the point.
Hold
Medium.
Packaging
Recyclable amber glass pot. 15g.
Directions for Use
Rub a small amount between forefinger and thumb until pliable, apply to the moustache and shape as desired. Less is more — excess wax won't absorb and will set into visible clumps.
Moustache Wax FAQs
Why is the wax so hard in the pot?
Because it's cold. Warm a small amount between your fingers and it becomes pliable.
How much should I use?
A fingernail's scrape. There aren't many hairs to cover.
Is this wax vegan?
No. It contains beeswax and lanolin, both animal-derived. No animals are harmed in obtaining either.
Does unscented mean it has no smell at all?
It has no added fragrance. Beeswax and lanolin have a faint natural scent of their own, which is mild and fades quickly.
How long does a pot last?
Months. You use very little each time.
What happens when the range runs out?
Beard balm will shape a moustache. It contains candelilla wax for hold, with butters and oils that condition. Less grip than a dedicated wax, but it works.
